The First World War Centenary spans from 2014 to 2018 and will be marked worldwide. The IWM is leading Britain’s cultural commemorations through a programme of activities, including the redevelopment of its First World War Galleries; partnerships with national and international organisations and the management of the First World War Centenary Partnership. The Partnership is a network of national and international organisations that will be commemorating the First World War Centenary and includes museums, archives, libraries, universities and colleges, special interest groups, broadcasters and some commercial companies. Being a member of the Partnership gives each one of us a stronger collective voice, visibility through the Centenary logo, access to a wealth of expertise and resources and the opportunity to promote our events on the www.1914.org.
